• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a law firm (required)
• Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or in an administrative legal support role preferred
• Bankruptcy experience is not required, but willingness to learn is essential
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in-person and collaborate effectively with a team
• Assist paralegals and attorneys with day-to-day case management tasks
• Support client intake by gathering and organizing documentation
• Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files
• Calendar deadlines, court dates, and appointments
• Prepare and format basic legal documents and correspondence
• Communicate with clients regarding document requests and general case updates
• Assist with tracking case progress and ensuring deadlines are met
• Handle general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and data entry
• Provide overall support to the legal team to ensure efficient workflow
• Serve as a supportive point of contact for clients, ensuring professionalism and responsiveness
• Work closely with paralegals to help move cases forward efficiently
• Contribute to a positive team environment and assist wherever needed
• Maintain organization and accuracy across all assigned tasks
Hourly compensation is based on experience and qualifications, ranging from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour.
The compensation package may include performance-based bonuses. We also offer a benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
